Virtual Blood Drive

I used to be scared of needles. Terrified even. To be honest? I still am. I hate the feeling of getting my blood drawn; it freaks me out big time. I'm not going to say that it's fun. It's something that's hard for me. But, the pride afterward? Seeing the posters on the wall of smiling kids? Knowing that because I struggled a little, just for a tiny bit, actually made a difference in someone else's life? That joy is overwhelming. So, I want to encourage others to feel that sense of fulfillment. I want to make the world a better place even if it's scary to do so. Through donating blood, I know it's possible to have a real impact on people's lives. Let's save as many lives as we can, and not let fear hold us back!
