Did you know that approximately 29,000 Units of Blood are needed Everyday in the US? The American Red Cross declared a blood shortage emergency in January of this year. It is Reported that the Summer and Winter months are the most critical for shortages. There has been an increase in tragic injuries and accidents where blood transfusion is critical in the area this year alone. These are super disheartening and depressing statistics.
