Join me, Riven Wisniewski, in changing lives in our communities for the better. Blood donation is a process that takes so little, and gives back tenfold. I started donating when I was sixteen because I was looking for potent ways to help people, and struck gold. Once you develop a rhythm, donating is quick in, and quick out. Every two months, I go in for my appointment, knowing that with just a sliver of my time, someone's life get's better because of it. A parent getting more time with their kids, relief to someone who's just had one of the worst days of their life, and so much more. When I found out about Vitalant's Student Scholarship Program, I knew it was exactly what I needed to do to spread the word about the simplicity and significance of donating blood.
