Virtual Blood Drive

Every day, I see data showing how donated blood is essential for: Trauma victims of accidents and emergencies. Cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. Patients with chronic illnesses like sickle cell anemia or thalassemia. Individuals undergoing surgeries or organ transplants. Mothers and newborns experiencing complications during childbirth. The "why" for me is the undeniable fact that blood cannot be manufactured. It can only come from generous donors. When I see the statistics on blood shortages, or read about a patient whose life was saved because compatible blood was available, it reinforces the immense value of every single donation.
