Roll Up for Reed Smith Blood Platelet Donation Drive! A blood platelet drive for Amie Singer. In February of 2025 equity partner Amie Singer was diagnosed with leukemia. Amie is an Atlanta based partner that advises sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as public and private strategic and emerging growth companies, on all their transactional needs. In response to her diagnosis, Reed Smith will be holding a blood platelet drive in our U.S. based offices to support Amie and bring awareness to leukemia and the need for blood platelet donations. Blood platelets are crucial to stop bleeding and are essential to various medical procedures and conditions. Donations of blood platelets are vital because they help treat individuals with low platelet counts, undergoing surgery, and those suffering from medical conditions or injuries.
