Virtual Blood Drive

During a complicated childbirth, my family member required a blood transfusion that proved critical in saving her life. Witnessing the impact of donated blood firsthand instilled in me a deep appreciation for the importance of blood donation and community service. Following that experience, my mother became a committed blood donor, further reinforcing the value of giving back. Although I do not currently meet the weight requirement to donate, I actively contribute by recruiting donors and promoting participation in blood drives. I believe that supporting life-saving initiatives can take many forms, and I am dedicated to doing my part. As I enter my senior year this fall at Utah Tech University, I remain committed to service and leadership. Earning this scholarship would allow me to continue my education while contributing meaningfully to a cause that has directly impacted my family.
