Virtual Blood Drive

There are various reasons why I wanted to create a virtual blood drive and one of those reasons was to honor the sacrifices made by my dad, Tom Nguyen. He had sacrificed so much to immigrate to America where he had started saving up money as soon as he found out my mom was pregnant. He put so much thought into my education and I want to be able to help pay it off as he spent so much of his life working late into the night. Due to the physical intensity of his jobs, he ended up with various health problems and one of the most prominent was his neck which he had to get surgery for. He never told me about the surgery until after it was successful as he didn't want to stress me out. Hearing that had broken my heart and I realized how he had shouldered so many financial and emotional burdens for me so I could live with a smile on my face.
