Virtual Blood Drive

I remember growing up and watching as my dad would go out to donate blood. I always thought it was the coolest thing ever and I always had a great appreciation for my dad knowing he was going out there and helping people. As soon as I was old enough I decided that I wanted to donate because I also wanted to help others. I donated and after seeing how easy it was I was like I want to do this more, especially after I found out I was the universal donor. Donating is one of my ways of giving back and helping people in such a seemingly simple way. Its always a good feeling knowing that I am helping others and I know that other people can get that same feeling. I found out about this program and I saw it as a way to help me get to college and a way to help save the lives of many more. With this scholarship I am able to help fund my college journey and help raise awareness about donating. I hope that I can help encourage more people to donate and help save the lives of hundreds. I hope that this scholarship inspires people to donate to this drive and many more after.
