Virtual Blood Drive

Hosting this virtual blood drive is deeply personal to me. Blood donations helped save my mother’s life. When my sister was born, my mother experienced severe complications during childbirth. Her body went into shock, and she urgently needed blood, platelets, and plasma. She lost kidney function, lost her eyesight temporarily, and was bedridden for a week. It was an incredibly difficult and frightening time for my family. Thanks to the incredible hospital team and the availability of donated blood products, my mother survived and recovered. Today, she is healthy and still with us because strangers chose to donate. That experience showed me how powerful and life-saving blood donation truly is. It inspired me to become a blood donor myself, and now I want to encourage others to do the same. A single donation can give someone more time with the people they love.
