Virtual Blood Drive

Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Sankar Gunturu Garu - Blood Donation Drive! Sankar Gunturu Garu was a dedicated Indian community leader whose life was defined by service, compassion, and a commitment to helping others. He was always there to help Indians new to Colorado find their footing and settle into the community. As President of the Colorado Telugu Association, he worked to promote Indian arts, culture, traditions, and the celebration of Hindu festivals. He was also among the community leaders who helped champion the vision of building temples in Colorado, including the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple and Shirdi Sai Temple. His service extended far beyond the local community. He was deeply involved with the North South Foundation, Math Kangaroo, and other organizations supporting children's educational competitions and activities. He also founded Desi Shades, an Indian community portal that served the needs of Indians for many years. Through Sewa International, he volunteered his time and participated in fundraising efforts supporting communities affected by floods and earthquakes in India and Nepal. His legacy lives on through the countless people he helped and the many community initiatives he supported. 🩸 Blood Donation Drive in His Honor We are organizing this blood donation drive in memory of Sankar Gunturu Garu, celebrating his lifelong spirit of giving and service.
