Virtual Blood Drive

From a young age, I have always been drawn to the ocean. Through trips to marine conservation centers and aquariums, and learning about the diverse ecosystems these incredible creatures live in, I finally found my true calling of becoming a marine veterinarian. As a marine veterinarian, I hope to travel across the globe to help save endangered marine species including marine mammals, fish, reptiles, and invertebrates like octopuses. I want to provide the same care and compassion for them just as we would for a dog or cat. Achieving my dreams will be a long road, but I know it will be worth it. I first plan on pursuing a bachelor's degree in marine biology, then advancing to veterinary school to learn the needed skills to care for these animals. Following all of the schooling required, I plan to work with conservation organizations dedicated to protecting not only the marine life of today, but also making sure there is still life for years to come. Ultimately, by becoming a marine veterinarian, I hope to inspire future generations to appreciate, respect, and protect these creatures that inhabit our planet's waters. This Blood drive will help me earn credits for a scholarship to help me afford my dream!
