Virtual Blood Drive

In 2025, 23 people lost their lives on the streets and roads of our county! In one 3-month period, there were 11 fatalities right here in Dona Ana county! Roadway collisions are also responsible for countless serious injuries. We will honor all of them, as well as people everywhere who have died or sustained life-altering injuries as a result of motor vehicle collisions, by life-saving blood donations during November, December, and January - months that the supply of donor blood is often insufficient to meet the need. Our goal is 11 donors within that period of time, although we'd love to have even more! This might be just the time for first-time donors to make a commitment. VRUnm is active on many levels to help insure that all who use our roadways are respected, safe, and accountable. Blood donation is a tangible way of demonstrating support for our work while acknowledging the all-to-real cost of irresponsible and disrespectful road use. We especially invite those who's lives have been touched by roadway violence to donate. Please help by GIVING the GIFT of LIFE!
