Virtual Blood Drive

My mom was in the hospital a little under a year ago. It was a life changing experience for me to see her hooked up to bags of blood and knowing that that was one of the reasons she was going to be okay. Before that I had never really thought about the impact that just simply donating blood can have on a family. Watching my mom recover showed me the importance of donating blood. If I have the power to help someone who is sick get better just as a stranger did for my mom just by donating I would love to do it as well as encourage other to do it too.
