Virtual Blood Drive

I have personally contributed to Vitalant’s mission to save lives through blood cell and plasma donations over the past 6 years since my first donation in high school. Being able to work with Vitalant through the Student Leadership Scholarship program is a great opportunity for me to spread the purpose of the organization in an attempt to save more lives. Donating blood is a great way to serve your community and nation because you can directly donate to those in need. One donor can help save an average of 3 lives. With my goal of 7 donations, I hope to save at least 21 lives through my donation portal. Due to the high costs of education and dental school, I think this scholarship opportunity can be a great resource for me to pursue further education and not have to worry as much about the financial burden.
