Virtual Blood Drive

I believe that donating blood is severely important. Donating blood is something that is easily overlooked until you or a family member are in a situation that needs a blood donation in that moment. The need is dire and is what ultimately saves a person's life. When I was young my dad told me a story of how his father, brother, and himself had donated blood together to save a little boy's life after a car accident. After that I took donating blood seriously and was awarded a cord for high school graduation.This scholarship opportunity was an easy yes for me because it get's people excited to not only help those in need, but to help a student also.
