About My Virtual Blood Drive

Ava is currently at UC Davis undergoing treatment for Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). The chemotherapy she is receiving attacks her bone marrow which creates all the different blood components. As a result, her hemoglobin and platelets drop after each and she receives multiple blood and platelet transfusions. Your donation ensures that Ava and patients like her, will not have to wait when they are in need of a transfusion. Please donate if you are able to!
