Virtual Blood Drive

We estimate Erin received about 20 blood transfusions during her initial treatment for Leukemia. And for all the marvels of modern medicine, there is no such thing as synthetic blood. So at least 20 people -- people she never met or had the opportunity to thank -- contributed to saving Erin's life. Simply by donating blood.
