Randy loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching all Chicago sports teams. He enjoyed working on home improvement projects and took pride in his yard. He was a generous man who went out of his way to help others. Whether a family member or a stranger stranded along the road, he wanted to lend a hand. In 2018, Randy was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. A number of treatments followed the diagnosis, but his disease progressed and Randy passed away on June 30, 2021. During the last four months of his life, Randy received transfusions of both blood and platelets several times a week.
