Virtual Blood Drive

I’m organizing this virtual blood drive because I’ve seen how even one blood donation can truly save a life. During my medical training, I had the opportunity to draw blood for the first time, and when I successfully hit the vein on my first try, I felt proud — not just because I did it right, but because I realized how important this skill is. That moment made me think about the people who rely on blood donations: trauma patients, cancer fighters, new mothers, and premature babies in the NICU. As someone working toward a career in healthcare especially as a future phlebotomist and NICU nurse I want to do more than just learn the skills. I want to inspire others to take action, too. Donating blood is one of the simplest but most powerful ways to make a difference. Just one donation can help up to three people. Through this blood drive, I hope to encourage my community to come together, step up, and give hope to those who need it most.
